Liquid is one of the three main phases of matter.If a liquid is poured into a container, it will take shape of that container. The molecules in liquid move around but not as rapidly as a gas molecules would. A liquid also has no definte volume or shape, which explains why it can take upon any container poured into. More examples of liqud matter are: honey, juice, rain, sweat, and lava.
